Blogging Again!

I've been really lazy about the blog for the past few months! Part of the problem is that, as life becomes more "normal" here, it doesn't seem like we have as much to share. I just went to a class on facebook and blogging, so I'm trying to get re-motivated. Also, we are going to be traveling  a lot more in the next few weeks, so I'll actually have something interesting to tell you about! I've also hooked the blog into my facebook page (I hope), so that may make it easier to access.

This weekend we visited Kobe's Chinatown, Nathan went on his first sleepover, and Matt and I went to a Persian carpet auction (we just got two little ones but I'm saving up my money for next year's auction!). Most importantly, I managed to navigate the Kobe train system  and city streets with Laura and Katie in tow and didn't lose them! I've been deathly afraid to try it until now, so it was a huge confidence boost! We met friends of Katie's for a play date at Bornelund (an indoor play area). We had a great time and finished by having lunch in Chinatown. The girls had a great time and even ate the ramen and dumplings. I had my first shark fin dumpling. It wasn't bad...of course I didn't know what it was until after I ate it!

This week our first visitors arrive and this weekend we're all going to Tokyo to see Matt run the Tokyo Marathon!
